The Erica Zwickel Foundation was established in 2003 in memory of a wonderful young woman, Erica Zwickel. Erica was 31 years old and had suffered with MS for the last few years of her life. She was
a vibrant, active person whose passions were art and
music. Erica was a student at the DuCret School of Art
and worked as a promoter and manager with many of New Jersey's top bands, such as "The Nerds", "Dog Voices", etc. In Erica's memory this foundation was established to fund MS research, and to aid underprivileged students in their pursuit of education in the arts and music. In 2006, Erica's sister-in-law, Sandy, was diagnosed with breast cancer.  The Board of Directors unanimously voted to add breast cancer research to the fields of study that the foundation supports.  In light of Erica's passions, each year we hope to be able to give scholarships in both art and music and to donate money that will be earmarked to go directly for research for a cure for MS and Breast Cancer. Due to the generosity of people and companies like you we hope to fulfill our mission. We do this because it is a worthy cause and is something that needs to be done. We also do this in memory of Erica; this is what she would have wanted and what she would have done.
Thank you,
Board of Directors
